Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Haji (ranked 2608 p4p, 4358 weight class) and African King (ranked 336 p4p, 496 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Haji has been working on his boxing with his coaches at FF Forever in the buildup to the fight.
King throws a sloppy head kick and Haji moves out of range easily.
Haji swings and misses with a hook to the body.

King fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Haji to the ground. King is now in Haji's guard.

King has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Haji is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for King.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Haji really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for King.
You can see the frustration on King's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
