Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fredrick Young (ranked 4674 p4p, 4591 weight class) and Chris Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fredrick Young! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Davis! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis swats away the attempt to clinch by Young. Davis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Young's guard. Davis showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Young wants to get back to his feet but Davis is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis passes Young's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Davis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Young's head. Davis is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Young tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davis swats him away and circles back towards the center. Young tries to clinch up. Davis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Davis keeps the fight on the outside. Young tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Davis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Young closes the distance and pushes Davis back into the cage. A right hand to the body from Young.
A short left from Young. Davis goes for a takedown in the clinch but Young prevents it.
Davis blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Davis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Young wants to clinch but Davis slips to the side and Davis counters with a takedown into side control. Davis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Davis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Young is avoiding damage well.
Young is looking to get back to his feet here but Davis is keeping cool and he's managed to take Young's back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davis controlling the position well here. Young rolled but Davis kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Young taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Davis.
