Lacerda's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rock superstar. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacerda tries to clinch up.

Slash is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Slash wants to clinch up but Lacerda keeps it at a distance.
Slash moves in looking to clinch but Lacerda pushes him off.
Slash tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lacerda paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lacerda doesn't manage to clinch there - Slash circles away.
Slash throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Lacerda tumbling to the canvas!
It looks like Anderson Lacerda has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lacerda wants to stand but Slash is controlling the position.
Lacerda wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Slash manages to pass to side control.
Lacerda tries to kick Slash off but Slash keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Slash decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lacerda jumps guard but Slash stands there with Lacerda around his waist. Lacerda gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Slash lands a body shot in the clinch.
Slash throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Lacerda blocks an elbow strike from Slash.
Slash is trying to break free.
Lacerda tries to pull guard but Slash won't allow it.
Slash is trying to break free.
Slash lands a hook to the side of the head.
Slash presses Lacerda against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Lacerda is breathing heavily.
Slash wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A right hook to the body lands for Slash.
Slash lands an elbow inside.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Slash.

Slash lands a body punch in the clinch.

Slash tries to land knees in the clinch but Lacerda avoids the damage to the body.
Slash breaks from the clinch.
Slash rushes Lacerda and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Slash gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Anderson Lacerda's cut is getting worse.
Lacerda keeps control of Slash as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Slash scores a nice knee to the body.
Lacerda dodges an elbow strike from Slash.
Slash lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Slash lands a nice elbow.

Anderson Lacerda's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Anderson Lacerda's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
