Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Valen Dreth (ranked 1636 p4p, 1767 weight class) and Brendan Quiniou (ranked 185 p4p, 203 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Quiniou fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dreth sprawls well initially but Quiniou persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dreth is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at FF Forever, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Dreth throws a leg kick but Quiniou sees it coming and moves out of range.

Quiniou throws a nice looking combination but Dreth bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dreth throws a counter high kick but Quiniou was just alert enough to avoid it.
Quiniou shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dreth as he jumps to the side.
Dreth throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Dreth defending well as Quiniou loads up on a big left hand.
Dreth was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Quiniou decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Dreth wants to get back to full guard.

Quiniou is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Quiniou is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dreth defends it well.

Quiniou paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Dreth - great work!
