Buchanan misses with a takedown attempt - Manson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Manson unleashes a big counter combination but Buchanan bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Manson keeps the fight on the outside.
Manson is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Buchanan with a body shot.

Buchanan goes for a double leg but Manson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Manson continues to drive forward.

Buchanan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Manson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Buchanan back to the cage. Manson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Manson tries to bum rush Buchanan with a series of wild strikes but Buchanan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Buchanan seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Manson throws a lazy right hand but Buchanan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Buchanan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Manson has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Manson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Buchanan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Manson pinned against the cage. Manson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Manson catches Buchanan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Manson has cracked Buchanan with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Manson lands another huge swinging hook and Buchanan tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Buchanan, before Manson can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Charles Manson!
A relieved looking Charles Manson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
