Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jingky Bacolod (ranked 2588 p4p, 2180 weight class) and David King (ranked 295 p4p, 257 weight class). Bacolod comes to the cage accompanied by Havana. King is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Manchester United Chants George Best Song Spirit In The Sky. This should be fireworks!

King lands a nice shot that snaps Bacolod's head back.
King uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
King lands with a shot to the body.
King misses with an uppercut.
A slow jab from King misses its intended target.
Bacolod tries to counter by moving into the clinch but King manages to circle out of the way.

and Bacolod takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Bacolod shoots in looking for a takedown but King manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bacolod's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bacolod tries to clinch up but King circles away and keeps his distance.
Bacolod walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

King throws a lazy right hand but Bacolod sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bacolod tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but King swivels and escapes.

Bacolod closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

King explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King lands with a good body shot.
Bacolod seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

David King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King thuds a left hand into Bacolod's body.

King swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bacolod.

Bacolod takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
King connects with a body shot that sends Bacolod's belly button to the back.
King changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bacolod avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
King tries to bum rush Bacolod with a series of wild strikes but Bacolod uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bacolod wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
King moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
King misses with a hook. Bacolod ducked under it nicely.

Bacolod shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bacolod was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
King is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bacolod asserts his dominance and retains side control.

King sneaks out the side door and pushes Bacolod away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Bacolod uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from King.
A swing and a miss from King.
Bacolod uses good head movement to avoid the hook from King.

Bacolod decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

King manages to escape and get back to his feet!

King throws a hook but Bacolod avoids it easily.
David King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Bacolod looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? King is fending him off so far but Bacolod persists. Nope, King circles away and we're back to standing.
Bacolod shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
King is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bacolod had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

King steps in with a hook that catches Bacolod right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! King follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Bacolod looks absolutely devastated.
