PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Konichiwa Jempsa (ranked 1564 p4p, 1361 weight class) and Carl Brooks (ranked 198 p4p, 173 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Jempsa closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jempsa lands in his opponent's guard.

Brooks pushes Jempsa off and gets back to his feet.

Jempsa is trying to stand back up.
Jempsa manages to reverse the position and now he's in Brooks's guard. Nice work there by Jempsa.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jempsa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brooks to the mat! Brooks manages to get full guard.

Well Brooks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
