Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mogweister can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mogweister tries to stand but Shabazz is controlling from the bottom.
Mogweister really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shabazz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Shabazz feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mogweister s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Shabazz lands a nice uppercut.
Shabazz lands a hook to the side of the head.

Mogweister tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Shabazz throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Mogweister is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shabazz is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mogweister pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Shabazz is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mogweister can't fight it off and eventually Shabazz manages to take the fight to the floor. Mogweister looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Shabazz lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Shabazz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Shabazz stays in close to Mogweister 's body and controls the position.

Shabazz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mogweister can do to turn this around?

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Shabazz seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mogweister for as long as he can get away with.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
