Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lomwi Mogandi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lomwi Mogandi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Eduardo da Silva's chin.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mogandi looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Eduardo da Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mogandi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. da Silva looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mogandi thows a body kick. da Silva tries to catch it but that hurt him.

da Silva has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Mogandi closes the distance and clinches.
Mogandi tries to break the clinch but da Silva is controlling the position.
da Silva is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mogandi is just too persistent for him and manages to trip da Silva to the mat. da Silva regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Mogandi won't allow da Silva to sweep him here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

da Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mogandi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

da Silva has an Americana. Mogandi didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! da Silva is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if da Silva hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
