Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio De Toro (ranked 1067 p4p, 2244 weight class) and Garry Almeida (ranked 136 p4p, 269 weight class). De Toro comes into the arena with KHALED - FINITO blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

De Toro leaves Almeida with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Almeida moves away from the strike by De Toro.
De Toro throws the left hand but Almeida avoids the punch easily.

Almeida shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Almeida is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and De Toro defends it well.

Almeida is working for an americana but De Toro has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Almeida was thinking about the submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Almeida wants to control from the top but De Toro keeps moving.

De Toro is looking for a triangle but Almeida pushes his legs off easily.
My spies in Danaher Death Squad inform me that Almeida has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Almeida drops back, looking for a kneebar! De Toro looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. De Toro looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from De Toro!

Almeida escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. De Toro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Almeida is trying to keep De Toro in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
De Toro uses his free foot to push down on Almeida's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Almeida.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Almeida.
De Toro misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Almeida.
De Toro swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Almeida appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

De Toro lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Almeida at a distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Almeida.

Almeida takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Garry Almeida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Almeida shoots in for a double leg but De Toro sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

De Toro fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
De Toro cracks Almeida with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Almeida falls to his knees and De Toro doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Antonio De Toro!
