Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Archie Paine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Finch! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paine fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Finch, pushing him back against the cage. Finch drops down looking for an ankle pick but Paine pulls his leg out and moves away.
Paine digs a good hook to Finch's body.
Paine fails to land with a series of punches.
Paine connects with a crisp jab. Finch scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Paine takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Paine closes the distance and lands a one-two. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Paine cracks Finch with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Paine misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Finch misses with a looping left. Finch is looking to land body kicks. Finch scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Paine's coaches at Elite Underground Training Facility have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Finch is looking to take a break and control but Paine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Paine tries to get out of the position. Paine wants to get back to full guard. Finch thows a huge punch but Paine dodges it nicely.
Paine is looking to escape. Finch misses with a head shot. Paine uses the momentum to regain guard. Paine has control of Finch's left arm, preventing Finch from doing any damage. Paine looking to hit a scissor sweep but Finch is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Finch stands and throws Paine's legs to the side, diving into side control. Finch is looking to take a break and control but Paine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Paine is looking for a sweep. Finch trying to control the action but Paine is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paine wants to get back to his feet but Finch drags him back down. Paine tries to buck Finch off but Finch is having none of it. Paine is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Finch has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Finch pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Paine on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Paine fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Finch moves forwards but Paine connects with a nice, crisp jab. Paine lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Finch dives in and grabs Paine's left leg, looking for a takedown. Paine pushes down on Finch's head and hops out. Paine misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Archie Paine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paine pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Finch back to the cage. Paine follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. No joy there for Paine, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Paine misses. Finch swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Paine seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Finch plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Finch misses with a head kick.

A punch lands to the side of Finch 's head but he takes it in his stride. Archie Paine is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Paine scores with a nice head shot. Finch throws a head kick but Paine moves out of range.
Finch uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Paine. Paine stuffs the takedown attempt from Finch. Finch gets slowly back to his feet. Archie Paine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Finch. Paine scores with a crisp jab that stopped Finch in his tracks. Paine connects with a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Archie Paine dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Finch throws a low kick but it's checked well by Paine. Paine takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Paine feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Finchs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Finch is rocked! Paine connects with a nice looking jab.
Finch is still on wobbly legs! Can Paine finish him? Finch misses with a wild body shot. A head kick by Finch misses and Paine counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Paine lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Finch can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Paine and Finch drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Paine.
