Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gniewomir Lach (ranked 342 p4p, 172 weight class) and Marky Mark (ranked 50 p4p, 25 weight class). Lach comes to the cage accompanied by Soel. Mark has chosen Isä ei jätä as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gniewomir Lach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marky Mark! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lach takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mark throws a body shot but no joy. Mark scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Lach throws a body kick that misses. Mark doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Nice straight punches there by Mark. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mark. Lach slips a jab and a cross from Mark.
Lach avoids the head kick by Mark.
A little feinted left hand from Lach on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Lach looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Donk. Lach catches Mark right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Marky Mark has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mark swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Lach walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mark checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Mark takes one to the chin there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mark throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A shot to the liver by Lach. Beautiful body shot. Lach on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Mark throws a right and a left that both miss. Mark moves out of range of the strikes. Lach fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Lach cracks Mark with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lach has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mark to stand back up!
Mark is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Mark takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Lach misses with a body kick. Mark replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Lach blocks it well. Lach connects with a solid leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mark checks a low kick from Lach. Mark scores with a body shot.
Lach sends Mark crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lach is motioning to the referee to let Mark up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Mark is still on wobbly legs! Can Lach finish him? Mark blocks a head kick by Lach.
Lach throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Mark seems to have recovered his senses. Mark misses with a body kick. Mark fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lach sprawls well initially but Mark persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Lach has his hands clasped together around Mark's back. He's all about the action. Mark looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mark is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mark is looking to stall here but Lach recovers full guard. Mark trying to control but Lach is working from the bottom. Mark throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lach works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lach is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lach controlling the position. Mark drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mark jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lach keeping moving, preventing Mark from controlling successfully. Lach looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Mark passes Lach's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Mark is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lach doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mark. Mark wants to take a breather but Lach is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gniewomir Lach dominated that round. The cut man is working on Marky Mark's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Lach looks to land a right hand but Mark moved out of range. Marky Mark has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mark misses the body punch and Lach counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Mark tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Mark breaks the clinch.
Mark takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That has opened up Marky Mark's cut even more. Gniewomir Lach is winning the standup battle so far. Mark throws a hook but Lach blocks it. Mark delivers a nice body kick. Mark pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A looping hook to the body misses from Mark. Lach does a little dance to reset his feet. Lach moves out of range as Mark throws a body kick.
Mark throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lach. An attempted straight right counter from Lach misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mark takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Lach thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mark if he has to take too many more of those.
Lach takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lach misses with a hook. Mark changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Mark misses with a body shot.
Lach lands a big head kick that sends Mark tumbling to the mat! Lach takes a step backwards and waves Mark back to his feet - he wants the finish! Lach throws out a loose jab but Mark uses good head movement to avoid it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lach throws a nice looking combination but Mark bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Mark throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lach counters with a crisp right hand that drops Mark! Lach lets Mark back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Mark misses with an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mark gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Lach gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Mark is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gniewomir Lach! A very excited looking Gniewomir Lach rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
