Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Solo Rebel (ranked 4933 p4p, 4588 weight class) and Rick Grimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ben Watson and Ben Hemmingworth.

Grimes gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rebel to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Grimes is wriggling around but Rebel manages to pass to half guard.
Rebel seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Rebel misses with a head shot. Grimes uses the momentum to regain guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rebel wants to stand but Grimes has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Rebel keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Grimes's head.
Rebel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rebel postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Rebel is looking to work some ground and pound but Grimes has wrist control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Rebel stays in close to Grimes's body and controls the position.
Rebel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grimes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rebel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Rebel takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Grimes feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rebels jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Solo Rebel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rebel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rebel gets a double leg takedown into Grimes's guard.
Rebel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Rebel stands and throws Grimes's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rebel lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Rebel cracks Grimes with a big right hand but Grimes just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Rebel tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Grimes is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Rebel wants to stand but Grimes is controlling his arm.
Rebel controls the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rebel's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Grimes stops Rebel from passing to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Grimes counters with a left to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Rebel or perhaps it was just good defense by Grimes, which made it look bad.

Grimes keeps the fight on the outside.
Grimes jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Rebel dives in for a single leg takedown but Grimes sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Grimes let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Solo Rebel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rebel throws an off balance right hand
and Grimes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rebel fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Grimes checks it well.
Grimes looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Grimes moves out of range of the body kick.
Rebel checks a leg kick.
Grimes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rebel.
Rebel swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Grimes counters with a big right hand! Oh Rebel is in trouble here! Grimes follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Grimes!
Rick Grimes made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Hey Rebel Sith, stop being a fucking douche bag and taking advantage of noobs. You got what you deserve, BITCH!!!! HAHAHA'.
