Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darren Dos Santos (ranked 3393 p4p, 2542 weight class) and Ibasour Sershurrapal (ranked 349 p4p, 284 weight class). Dos Santos comes to the cage accompanied by Right Above It. Sershurrapal has chosen Smoking Snakes as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Sershurrapal changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Sershurrapal slips a straight right by Dos Santos.
Dos Santos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sershurrapal throws the left hand but Dos Santos avoids the punch easily.
Sershurrapal throws out a loose jab but Dos Santos uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dos Santos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sershurrapal was well out of range. Poor timing from Dos Santos.

Dos Santos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sershurrapal is just riding it out for now. Dos Santos eventually gives up the hold.

Dos Santos has his foot on Sershurrapal's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sershurrapal works his way back into a safe position though.

We've been hearing good reports from Dos Santos's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
