Nurmaputinov is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Turner reverses the position - he's now on top in Nurmaputinov's guard.
Turner would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Nurmaputinov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Turner defends well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Nurmaputinov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nurmaputinov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We've been informed that Nurmaputinov has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Nurmaputinov is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Nurmaputinov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Turner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Turner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nurmaputinov wants to sweep but no luck.

Nurmaputinov thows a huge punch but Turner dodges it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nurmaputinov wants to free his trapped foot but Turner is holding on for dear life with his legs.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Nurmaputinov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
