Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Louis Moore (ranked 6236 p4p, 6719 weight class) and Johnny Hammer (ranked 570 p4p, 588 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Moore drives through with a takedown into Hammer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hammer wants to stand but Moore is controlling the position.
Hammer is looking to stand back up but Moore counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Hammer.
Moore takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Moore clinches up with Hammer and pushes him back against the cage.

Moore turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Moore will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Moore is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hammer can do to turn this around?
Hammer throws a head kick but Moore moves out of range.
Hammer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Moore drives through and clinches with Hammer against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hammer lands with a nice combination. Moore backs away looking to recover.

Hammer kicks off Moore and gets to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Moore dives in and grabs Hammer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hammer pushes down on Moore's head and hops out.
Hammer throws a fast counter high kick but Moore manages to duck under it in time.

Moore tries to clinch there but Hammer circles away.

Moore rushes Hammer and presses him up against the cage.

Hammer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Hammer counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Hammer looking to finish!

Johnny Hammer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Horrible takedown attempt by Moore or perhaps it was just good defense by Hammer, which made it look bad.
Moore tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hammer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moore somewhat.

Moore closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hammer quickly recovers to half guard.
Hammer scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Moore manages to mount him!

Moore has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Louis Moore overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Moore.
Moore's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Hammer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And Moore counters with a quick kick to the body but Hammer blocks it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Louis Moore.
