Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dany Leblond! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.

Horrible takedown attempt by Skellington or perhaps it was just good defense by Leblond, which made it look bad. Leblond fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Skellington sprawls well initially but Leblond persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Skellington tries to roll over but Leblond keeps him under control. Skellington looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Leblond really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Skellington. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Skellington manages to get to full guard.

Let's hope that Leblond has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

It looks like Leblond might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Leblond prevents Skellington from improving his position. Skellington looking for submissions off his back. Leblond is taking a breather. Skellington says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Skellington wants to get back to full guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Skellington steps over the head and cranks it - Leblond is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Skellington!
