Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Mikhail!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Menchov!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikhail throws a right and a left that Menchov avoids nicely.
Vladimir Menchov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Menchov on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mikhail. Mikhail obviously looking to wear him down.
Menchov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mikhail.
Mikhail throws a right and a left that Menchov avoids nicely.
Mikhail will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A punch combination from Mikhail misses.
Menchov wants to clinch.
No joy there for Mikhail, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mikhail misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mikhail tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Left hook, right uppercut from Mikhail.
Menchov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mikhail avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mikhail connects with a solid leg kick.
No joy there for Mikhail, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Menchov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Menchov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Menchov shoots in for a takedown but Mikhail shows good takedown defense.
Menchov misses with a double jab
and Mikhail counters with a three punch combo that has Menchov backing up. Menchov nods at Mikhail to acknowledge the strikes.

Menchov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Menchov shoots in and bounces Mikhail off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mikhail is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Menchov is controlling him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Menchov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Menchov working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Menchov looks gassed!
Mikhail pushes Menchov off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mikhail misses with a double jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Menchov has his takedown stuffed
and Mikhail counters with a good low kick that Menchov was not able to check.
Vladimir Mikhail has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Menchov.
Mikhail lands a jab to the head.
Mikhail throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mikhail lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Mikhail throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Menchov stumbling backwards into the cage! Menchov bounces back off the cage towards Mikhail, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Mikhail lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Mikhail celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Vladimir Mikhail!
