Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Poison Ivy (ranked 6228 p4p, 25146 weight class) and Sexy Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Ivy has his takedown stuffed

and Fighter counters with a crisp one two that drops Ivy! Fighter thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ivy to his feet! Ivy is in big trouble!

Ivy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fighter's guard.

Ivy decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Fighter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ivy sprawls well. Ivy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fighter gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ivy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Poison Ivy will probably get the nod.

Fighter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ivy's waist but Ivy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fighter off to one side.

Fighter looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Fighter is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Ivy presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Ivy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fighter as he avoids it easily.

It looked like Ivy was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Fighter.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fighter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ivy keeps working.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Ivy trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ivy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fighter.
Ivy jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Sexy Fighter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Poison Ivy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fighter is defended easily by Ivy.

Well Ivy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
