Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brent Celek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Metis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Celek comes to the cage accompanied by 40 oz. Metis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Right Now - Van Halen. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Celek.
Metis gets a takedown into half guard.
Celek tries to roll over but Metis keeps him under control.
Metis looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Celek looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Metis decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Celek shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Celek sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Metis's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Metis is keen to just control but Celek is a slippery customer.
Celek is trying to maintain the position but Metis is very close to passing his half guard.

Metis is sitting in close to Celek's body. Celek has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Metis is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Metis is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Celek.
