Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit (ranked 1977 p4p, 1956 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 246 p4p, 243 weight class). Peter Parker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Parker!

Parker throws a right hand that Sitsongrit ducks under and follows up with a left that Sitsongrit also avoids with ease.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sitsongrit throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Parker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Parker is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Parker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sitsongrit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Parker has managed to get both his arms back between Sitsongrit's legs - danger averted.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
A lazy left from Sitsongrit finds it's target.
Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sitsongrit, as that shot connected.

Sitsongrit is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Sitsongrit counters with a good low kick that Parker was not able to check.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action!

Sitsongrit lands a lovely overhand right.
Parker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sitsongrit sprawls well. Sitsongrit wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Parker gets slowly back to his feet.
Sitsongrit lands a body shot.
Sitsongrit connects with an inside leg kick.
Sitsongrit cracks Parker with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sitsongrit. That's going to slow Parker down.

Parker fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sitsongrit to the ground. Parker is now in Sitsongrit's guard.

Sitsongrit manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sitsongrit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Parker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Parker might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sitsongrit haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Sitsongrit is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Parker can do to turn this around?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sitsongrit lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Yodsingkhun Sitsongrit decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
