PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacks Sole (ranked 983 p4p, 732 weight class) and Jackson Storm (ranked 142 p4p, 101 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacks Sole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackson Storm!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.

Storm has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sole is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Sole lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sole throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Storm sees it coming and avoids it easily.
No joy there for Storm, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A slapping body kick lands there for Sole.
Sole throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Storm stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sole motions for Storm to come forward. Sole throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Storm crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sole - the referee stops the clock and Storm gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sole. Storm manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Storm has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Storm and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Storm might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Sole has got the better of the exchanges.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jacks Sole will probably get the nod.
