Chan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pinales.

Chan pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Pinales seems to be working for a kimura but Chan defends the submission attempt.
Pinales is looking for a kimura but Chan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pinales to get the leverage.
Pinales has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Chan defend it? Pinales steps over the head and cranks it - Chan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Pinales!
