Eight shoots for a double leg takedown but Murray sprawls well. He's pushed Eight's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Murray, as that shot connected.
Eight is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Murray had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Murray takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Murray throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Murray throws a hook but Eight avoids it easily.

Eight shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
James Murray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Test Eight.
Murray throws a jab but it's blocked by Eight.
James Murray is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Eight throws a hook to the side of Murray's head but Murray sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Murray throws an overhand right that lands on Eight's shoulder, as Eight tries to avoid the shot.
Murray throws a lazy uppercut
and Eight counters with a straight right hand.
Murray looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Murray moves into the clinch.
Eight misses with some punches.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Eight has a couple of punches blocked by Murray.
Murray scores with a shot to the side of Eight's head.
Eight lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Eight lands a hook that snaps the head of Murray backwards.

Murray's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Murray is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Murray lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Oh Murray is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice body punch from Eight.
Murray seems to have got his legs back now.
Murray tries to throw a body punch but Eight avoids it by throwing Murray back against the cage.
Eight drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Murray gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Murray lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Eight backwards.
Eight lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A bit of stalling here from Murray.
Eight is trying to break free.
Eight lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Murray misses with a punch on the inside.
Murray misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Eight lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Eight prevents a body shot from Murray.
Eight lands with a short shot to the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Murray.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Test Eight dominated that round.
The cut man is working on James Murray's cut.
That's time! Murray's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Murray ducks straight into an uppercut from Eight and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Murray manages to regain guard straight away.
Murray has momentary wrist control but Eight slips an elbow through the middle.
Eight has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Murray is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Eight distracts Murray with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Eight lands a couple of elbows.
Murray is adopting a defensive guard.
Eight working some strikes from top position.
Eight gets to his feet and stands over Murray, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Murray felt that one! Eight unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Murray from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Test Eight!
