Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Cruz (ranked 2506 p4p, 6140 weight class) and Detektyw Pikachu (ranked 359 p4p, 610 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cruz enables Pikachu to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cruz manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Cruz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pikachu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

In his post fight interview, Michael Cruz started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
