Pullum listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Piotr Rasputin has been cut.
Rasputin closes the distance and pushes Pullum back into the cage.
Pullum jumps guard and drags Rasputin to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We've been hearing good reports from Pullum's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Pullum working for a triangle but Rasputin defends it easily.
Rasputin passes Pullum's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Pullum makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pullum.
Pullum wants to sweep but no luck.
Pullum is looking to cinch up a triangle. Rasputin throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Pullum's body to avoid the submission. Pullum has instead reached around Rasputin's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Pullum arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Furnum Pullum!
