Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Axl Lors (ranked 992 p4p, 921 weight class) and Iron Side (ranked 118 p4p, 110 weight class). Side comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In the Dark - Vintage Culture, Fancy Inc kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Axl Lors! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Iron Side! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Side attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Lors missing with a left hand there. Side was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Side throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lors looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Lors closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lors has a couple of punches blocked by Side.
Lors tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Lors softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Side slows down the pace here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Side has Lors pushed against the cage. Lors misses with the head strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lors lands with a left to the head. Side blocks an uppercut.
Lors tries a body shot but Side blocks it.
Side is pushing Lors up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Lors tries to throw a body punch but Side avoids it by throwing Lors back against the cage. Lors misses with a punch to the body.
Lors lands a nice uppercut. Side blocking some punches.
Side misses with a hook from the clinch. Lors tries a body shot but Side blocks it.
Side breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lors misses the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Side staying out of range there. Side is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Side tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lors manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lors waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Side. Side staying out of range there. Axl Lors seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Side connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Side uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lors has time to react. Lors cracks Side with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Side tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lors pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Side is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Axl Lors! Axl Lors retains his heavyweight title! Axl Lors bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it. Iron Side was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll back and knock him out!'.
