Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jurney Man (ranked 1139 p4p, 1896 weight class) and Gholam Estili (ranked 142 p4p, 232 weight class). Estili has chosen Ready For War (Instrumental) as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Estili throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Man tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Estili wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Man manages to work his way to half guard, despite Estili's best efforts.
Man wants to control but Estili is keeping busy.
Man is trying is best to control the position here.
Man tries to roll over but Estili keeps him under control.
Estili lands with a punch from half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Man tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Man has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Man is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Estili is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Man looking to sit in guard and control but Estili gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Man shoots in but no luck this time.
Estili lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Man at a distance.
Man slips under a jab from Estili.
Man shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Estili pinned against the cage. Estili gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Estili throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Man tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Estili is in Man's guard.

Man is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Estili trying to control the position from guard on top but Man is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Estili chips away with some ground and pound.
Man not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Estili distracts Man with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Estili must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Estili content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Man can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Estili controls the pace.
Man looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Estili chips away with some ground and pound.
Man is trying to control the position but Estili postures up.
Estili throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Estili is looking to work some ground and pound but Man has wrist control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Man shoots for a takedown but Estili saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Estili feints the counter takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jurney Man. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Man uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Estili.
Man misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Man dives in and grabs Estili's left leg, looking for a takedown. Estili pushes down on Man's head and hops out.
Man tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Estili defends well and Man ends up having to push Estili into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Man.
Man closes the distance and clinches up with Estili, looking for a takedown. Man pushes Estili against the cage but Estili circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Estili throws a counter combo.
Estili bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Man's head backwards.
Man misses with a takedown attempt - Estili sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Man looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Estili is fending him off so far but Man persists. Nope, Estili circles away and we're back to standing.
Estili lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Man is rocked!
Estili shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Estili showed some decent athleticism there.
Oh Man is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Man is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Estili scores with a couple of nice shots.
Estili winds up and cracks Man with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Estili is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Man is hurt! He's hurt bad - Estili fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Man from any more punishment! Congratulations to Estili! Great finish!
