Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trey Diesel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chelsea Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.

Diesel has closed the distance and engaged Salvacion in a clinch.
Salvacion tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Diesel just stands there and leans against the cage.

Diesel breaks from the clinch.

Diesel wants to take the fight to the mat but Salvacion manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Diesel tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Salvacion smiles and moves away.
Diesel dives in for a single leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Diesel backing away here, and Salvacion unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

and Salvacion counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Salvacion throws a chopping leg kick but Diesel manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Diesel half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Diesel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Salvacion swivels and escapes.

Diesel dives in and grabs Salvacion's left leg, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes down on Diesel's head and hops out.
Salvacion is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Diesel with a body shot.
Diesel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Diesel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Salvacion swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Salvacion steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Salvacion darts in and clinches Diesel up against the cage.
Salvacion fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Diesel manages to break the clinch.
Salvacion just misses with a punch to the body.
Diesel is looking to counter with head kicks.

Diesel gets a double leg takedown into Salvacion's guard.
Diesel wants to stand and escape but instead Salvacion has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Diesel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Diesel lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Diesel tries to free his leg and advance position but Salvacion is retaining full guard.

Salvacion is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Diesel wants to pass the guard but Salvacion is keeping the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Diesel in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Trey Diesel will probably get the nod.

Diesel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Salvacion moves away.
Salvacion unleashes a big counter combination but Diesel bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Diesel shoots in and bounces Salvacion off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Salvacion is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Diesel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvacion keeping moving, preventing Diesel from controlling successfully.

Diesel sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Diesel distracts Salvacion with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Diesel wants to control from the top but Salvacion keeps moving.
Salvacion can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Diesel controls the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Diesel fails with an attempt to clinch.
Salvacion was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Diesel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Salvacion bucks up and tries to throw Diesel off but instead Diesel has got his back!
Diesel really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Salvacion.
Salvacion wants to control his opponent's hands but Diesel gets his hands free.

Diesel scores with punches and elbows.
Diesel has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Salvacion's body.

Diesel is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Salvacion is tapping out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Trey Diesel!
