Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Diaz. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Lizard throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diaz.

Diaz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lizard throws a shot from downtown. Diaz moves away and avoids it.

and Diaz counters with a series of strikes that sends Lizard to the canvas! Diaz follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Lizard is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

BOOM! Diaz lands a beautiful left hook that drops Lizard. Lizard tries to recover but Diaz is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Lizard lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
