Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alak Mouskal (ranked 3031 p4p, 15735 weight class) and Jack Curry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Mouskal misses with a takedown attempt
and Curry counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mouskal is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Mouskal shoots for a double leg takedown but Curry sprawls well. He's pushed Mouskal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Curry fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mouskal takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Mouskal clinches up with Curry and pushes him back against the cage.
Curry has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mouskal is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mouskal crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Curry - the referee stops the clock and Mouskal gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Curry. Mouskal manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Mouskal lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mouskal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Curry's waist but Curry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mouskal off to one side.

Mouskal shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Curry's guard.

Mouskal feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Currys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Well Mouskal has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
