Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob Saget (ranked 2366 p4p, 2559 weight class) and Primo Volto (ranked 338 p4p, 363 weight class). Primo Volto has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bob Saget! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Primo Volto! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saget digs a good hook to Volto's body.
Saget throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Saget fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Volto has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Saget uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Volto. A jab from Volto misses. It looked like Saget was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Saget misses with a combination
and Volto counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Saget! Saget is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Crapollas Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Saget is not content to let Volto control the position. Volto throws a strike aimed at the side of Saget's head but Saget avoids it well. Volto is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Saget knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Volto moves into full mount! Volto goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Saget is on top in guard.
Volto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Volto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Saget doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Saget manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Volto has his hands on Saget's head, controlling the position. Volto has his foot on Saget's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Saget works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Volto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Saget gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Volto is trying to control the position but Saget postures up. Saget controls from within his opponent's guard. Volto told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Volto wants to hit a sweep here but Saget passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Volto there! Volto gets back to half guard. Saget with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Volto is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Volto trying to control from the bottom.
Well, if Saget is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Volto wants to get back to full guard but Saget has passed into side control. Saget is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Volto will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Volto is looking to regain half guard here but Saget keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Volto keeps trying to improve his position. Saget controlling from side mount. Volto gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Volto is trying to maintain the position but Saget is very close to passing his half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Volto wants to improve his position but Saget is controlling well.
Volto gets full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Saget dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Saget lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Nice body punch from Volto. A jab lands there for Saget. Volto takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Volto swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Saget lands the left hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saget throws a head kick that misses. Volto tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Saget! Volto is out on his feet! Saget rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Volto is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Volto is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Saget! Jumping up and down and very excited, Bob Saget waved his t-shirt featuring Hot Spunk's logo in front of the cameras.
