Scampoli throws a sloppy head kick

so Lukavicius counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Lukavicius with a nice head shot there.
Scampoli utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lukavicius throws a strike but Scampoli rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Scampoli advances to half guard.
Lukavicius knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scampoli on the ground.

Scampoli decides to return to a standing position.
Scampoli throws a combination. Lukavicius tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Vytautas Lukavicius has been cut.
Scampoli throws a right hand that Lukavicius ducks under and follows up with a left that Lukavicius also avoids with ease.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Scampoli kicks Lukavicius off and gets back to his feet.
Christian Scampoli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Lukavicius decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Scampoli's guard.
