PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kamen Kamenov (ranked 3953 p4p, 14565 weight class) and Baltasar Halko (ranked 126 p4p, 169 weight class). Halko has chosen The Lumberjack by Jackyl as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Kamenov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Halko quickly recovers to half guard.

Kamenov is nestled in close to Halko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing that Kamenov has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Halko has hold of Kamenov's hands but Kamenov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Kamenov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Halko has his foot on Kamenov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kamenov works his way back into a safe position though.
