Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mick Lenny!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Max Zorin!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zorin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lenny.
No joy there for Lenny, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Zorin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Zorin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lenny but Lenny pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Zorin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lenny as he avoids it easily.

Zorin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lenny is just riding it out for now. Zorin eventually gives up the hold.

Lenny is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Zorin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lenny's waist but Lenny gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zorin off to one side.
Lenny lands with a nice combination. Zorin backs away looking to recover.
Lenny misses with a series of wild punches.
Zorin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Zorin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Zorin shoots for a takedown but Lenny saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Zorin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lenny tries to avoid it but Zorin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lenny to the ground. Lenny escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Max Zorin.
