Jamal missing with a left hand there. Diesel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jamal's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Diesel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jamal scrambles back to his feet.
Diesel lands with an uppercut that bounces Jamal off the cage and back into range.

Diesel thuds his right hand into Jamal's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Diesel swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jamal.
Diesel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Diesel gets caught flat footed, as Jamal shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Diesel is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jamal is controlling him.
Jamal thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jamal stands and steps away. Diesel gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Diesel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Diesel wants to get back to his feet but Jamal is dominant here and he's now got Diesel's back!

Diesel is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Jamal.
Jamal is looking for the choke from the back position but Diesel is controlling his hands well.
Jamal keeps control of the position easily here as Diesel tries to buck him off.
Jamal is working for a rear naked choke. Diesel is not defending it well and Jamal has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Diesel refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Diesel's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
