Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marko Rakic (ranked 1932 p4p, 2357 weight class) and Jab Buckeye (ranked 264 p4p, 316 weight class). Rakic's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Right Above It. Buckeye has chosen Right above it lil Wayne as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jab Buckeye has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Marko Rakic's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Marko Rakic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jab Buckeye! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Ben Watson and Hugh Johnson.

Rakic looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rakic staying out of range there. Rakic looks for a takedown but Buckeye sprawls well. Buckeye tries to keep at a distance but Rakic has taken the fight into the clinch. Rakic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jab Buckeye seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rakic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Buckeye, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rakic is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Buckeye. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buckeye rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rakic moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rakic is looking for a counter combo. Rakic closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rakic lands in his opponent's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Buckeye is trying to keep Rakic in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rakic with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Buckeye is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rakic defends well. Rakic works over Buckeye with some ground and pound from guard. Rakic working some strikes from top position. Buckeye working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Rakic has passed into half guard!
Buckeye is looking to get back to full guard here but Rakic has managed to pass to side control instead. You can see the frustration on Buckeye's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buckeye is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Rakic takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rakic is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
It looks like Jab Buckeye has been cut. Rakic slips a nice elbow through Buckeye's hands, connecting with Buckeye's forehead.
That has opened up Jab Buckeye's cut even more. Rakic lands strikes from half guard. Buckeye on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The cut above Jab Buckeye's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Nice strikes from Rakic there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Buckeye makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Buckeye. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rakic lands a couple of decent looking shots. Jab Buckeye's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
