Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Risto Rautio (ranked 315 p4p, 1102 weight class) and James Jordon (ranked 45 p4p, 150 weight class). Rautio comes to the cage accompanied by mickey avalon. Jordon has chosen Sticky Icky as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Jordon!

Rautio connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Rautio on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Rautio throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jordon counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Jordon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rautio. That did some damage!
Jordon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Rautio scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jordon's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rautio under the eye.

Rautio bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jordon's head backwards.
Rautio ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Rautio counters with a stiff right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rautio fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jordon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

James Jordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rautio uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jordon.
Rautio throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Rautio has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Jordon looks to land a combination. Rautio sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

A counter left hand to the body from Rautio misses its target.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Jordon might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Rautio has got the better of the exchanges.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rautio throws a lazy right hand but Jordon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jordon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

and Rautio counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jordon! Rautio lets Jordon back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like James Jordon has been cut.
Rautio circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Jordon tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Rautio wins by KO!
