PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Erco De Beer (ranked 2994 p4p, 3513 weight class) and Nadeem Andersen (ranked 356 p4p, 405 weight class). Andersen has chosen A Tribe Called Quest - Can I Kick It? as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

De Beer misses with a lunging right hand
and Andersen counters with a two punch combo.
De Beer slips a jab and a cross from Andersen.
De Beer appears to be looking for a big counter.
The crowd cheers as De Beer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Andersen doesn't seem phased though.
Andersen thuds his right hand into De Beer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
De Beer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

It looked like De Beer wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Erco De Beer was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
In defeat, Nadeem Andersen stepped up to the mic, saying 'Fair play to him but that was a fluke and he knows it, I suggest a rematch next.'.
