Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Steel (ranked 2934 p4p, 1102 weight class) and Like Boss (ranked 325 p4p, 127 weight class). Jerome Steel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerome Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Like Boss! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.

Boss bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Boss fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. A good leg kick by Steel. Boss lands a jab. Steel throws a head kick that Boss semi-blocks.

Boss lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Steel looks to land a left hand but Boss moved out of range nicely. Boss feints a counter leg kick. Boss punishes Steel's body with a nice straight punch. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Boss just misses with a punch to the body.

Like Boss dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Steel takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Boss scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Like Boss seems to be getting the better of the standup. Boss jabs at Steel's body. Boss moves out of range of the body kick from Steel.

Steel has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boss misses with a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Steel lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Steel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boss fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steel manages to avoid it. Boss throws out a loose jab but Steel uses good head movement to avoid it. Boss connects with a body shot. Steel looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Boss feints and then cracks Steel's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Steel down. Steel misses with an uppercut

A little nod from Steel there as he acknowledges the shot. Boss wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Boss connects with a nice looking jab.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Steel might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Boss scores with a crisp jab that stopped Steel in his tracks. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Boss just misses with a punch to the body.

Like Boss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! Boss lands a really nice looking cross but Steel seems unphased.

Steel is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Jab from Boss. Jab, jab by Boss - just one landing. Steel smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Steel throws a jab when Boss was well out of range. Boss checks a low kick from Steel. Steel tries to land a front kick but Boss steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Boss! But no joy.

"You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boss, as that shot connected.
Steel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Boss connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Steel scrambles back to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boss pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Steel lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Steel takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. A solid leg kick lands there for Boss.

Nice straight punches there by Boss. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Boss. Boss misses with a low kick as Steel jumps back. Steel walks into a jab. Steel drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Boss lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Steel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Steel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. An attempted straight right counter from Steel misses the target. Boss has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Boss dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Boss throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

And that's the end of the fight! Like Boss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Boss has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
