Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Faulk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wiaan Cronje!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.

Faulk bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Cronje moves out of range as Faulk throws a body kick.
Faulk loads up on a big right hand but Cronje slips the punch.
Faulk has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Faulk misses with a looping right.
Faulk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cronje moves away.
Cronje lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Faulk misses with an uppercut. Cronje saw that one coming.
Cronje rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cronje takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Faulk scores with the left hand. Cronje knows he should have avoided that one.
Faulk is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cronje.

It seemed like Cronje was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Cronje uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Faulk.
Faulk sets himself, and Cronje steps forward looking for the clinch! Faulk avoids it this time.
Cronje swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Faulk was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Faulk throws a hook to the side of Cronje's head but Cronje sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Cronje cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cronje throws a sloppy head kick and Faulk moves out of range easily.
Faulk looks to land a left hand but Cronje moved out of range nicely.
It seemed like Cronje was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Faulk counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Cronje throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cronje takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Faulk misses with a looping left.
Cronje moves out of range as Faulk strikes.
Cronje has closed the distance and engaged Faulk in a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head punch on the inside from Cronje fails to land.
Cronje lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Still in the clinch, Cronje scores with a nice short uppercut.
Cronje swings wildly with an uppercut but Faulk uses good head movement to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kevin Faulk will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Cronje counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cronje scores with a head kick. Faulk tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Faulk throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice uppercut there from Faulk.

Cronje ducks under a wild hook from Faulk.
Faulk throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Cronje wants to counter the offense by Faulk and move into the clinch position.

and before Faulk can reset, Cronje rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! Faulk is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!

and Cronje counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Faulk slips a straight right by Cronje.
Cronje closes the distance and catches Faulk with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Faulk is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Faulk is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Faulk is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Cronje takes it!
