Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Brian Upchurch (ranked 23643 p4p, 2141 weight class) and Draughn Diego (ranked 122 p4p, 20 weight class). Upchurch comes into the arena with Quit Lyin blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

I was talking to Upchurch's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Upchurch drops Diego on his ass with a big knee up the middle! Diego bounces straight back to his feet before the referee can even start a count. We'll have to wait a moment to see if that actually hurt him or not, as he takes the standing 8 count.

Upchurch connects with a quick right hand that sends Diego tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Brian Upchurch!
The defeated Draughn Diego had this to say: 'Well, fuck. You felt greasy mate.. Something is up mate.'.
