PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Strasburg (ranked 2773 p4p, 2480 weight class) and Edson Blois (ranked 374 p4p, 335 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Strasburg might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Red - Chevelle. Edson Blois will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Strasburg darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Strasburg slips a nice elbow through Blois's hands, connecting with Blois's forehead.
Strasburg is thwarting Blois's attempts to control the position.
Blois might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Strasburg haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Strasburg cracks Blois with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Strasburg has hold of Blois's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Blois manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Strasburg has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A relieved looking Max Strasburg thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
