The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maicow tries to close the distance and clinch but Ishii swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Maicow tries to clinch up.

Maicow misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ishii.
Maicow lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Satoshi Ishii has been cut.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Maicow just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ishii's brow.
Come on Ishii - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Ishii has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Maicow clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Ishii has got one arm under Maicow's chin. This could be trouble... Maicow trying to control the other hand but Ishii gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Maicow has tapped out! The fight is over!
