The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexandrov tries to clinch but Oz is having none of it.
Oz drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Alexandrov defends it well.

I was talking to Alexandrov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Oz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Alexandrov just stands there and leans against the cage.

Alexandrov drops Oz with a big knee straight up the middle! Oz is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Oz tries to keep at a distance but Alexandrov has taken the fight into the clinch.

Oz seems to have recovered his senses.
Alexandrov is looking to stand up but Oz isn't so interested in that idea.
Alexandrov seems keen to control Oz's posture.
Alexandrov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Oz defends it easily.

Alexandrov controls Oz momentarily but Oz frees himself.

Alexandrov is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Oz presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Alexandrov lands a nice hook to Oz's body. Oz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Alexandrov moves into the clinch successfully.
Alexandrov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Oz uses from the top position.
Alexandrov will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Oz is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Alexandrov.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Alexandrov goes for a small jab and connects. Now Alexandrov goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Oz stumbles back but Alexandrov runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Oz to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Oz will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
