Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JC Turner (ranked 3047 p4p, 1633 weight class) and Peetu Tam (ranked 0 p4p, 186 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JC Turner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peetu Tam! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.

Peetu Tam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tam. Turner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. The fight moves into the clinch position. Tam breaks from the clinch.

Turner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tam tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turner misses the shot to the body. Tam closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Tam has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Turner after a bit of a struggle. Turner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Turner looks to land a combination but Tam avoids it well. Tam is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Tam lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tam. Turner misses with a two punch combination.

Tam fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Turner to the ground. Tam is now in Turner's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tam accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Tam cracks Turner with a solid left hand. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tam's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Tam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Turner swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tam trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Tam postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Tam working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Turner's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tam is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Turner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Turner is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tam landing with the ground and pound. Tam works over Turner with some ground and pound from guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tam distracts Turner with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Tam loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Tam is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Tam throwing strikes from guard but Turner blocks nicely. Tam is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Tam stands up over Turner, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Turner tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tam controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Tam is pushing down on Turner's leg trying to pass to half guard. Turner is fighting to maintain full guard but Tam has managed to sneak the leg through. Turner avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tam. Tam works his way into full mount! Tam controlling his opponent. Tam softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Turner is out cold! Tam jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
