Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Zonta (ranked 1512 p4p, 1215 weight class) and Kree P Krawlee (ranked 182 p4p, 152 weight class). Krawlee has chosen Sail as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Zonta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kree P Krawlee!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krawlee bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Zonta's head.
Krawlee shoots for a takedown but Zonta saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Zonta has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Roosters Coop in the buildup to the fight.
Zonta scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Zonta lands a nice shot that snaps Krawlee's head back.

Zonta has Krawlee up against the cage in a clinch.
Krawlee wants to take the fight to the mat but Zonta manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Krawlee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zonta is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Peter Zonta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kree P Krawlee.
Krawlee has Zonta pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Zonta manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Krawlee has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Zonta clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Krawlee is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Zonta defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Krawlee goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Zonta has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Krawlee but great work by Zonta.

Zonta is staying tight to Krawlee's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The referee asks Zonta politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Zonta prefers to stall for the moment though.

Zonta is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Krawlee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Zonta seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Krawlee for as long as he can get away with.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Krawlee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Krawlee dives in and grabs Zonta's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zonta pushes down on Krawlee's head and hops out.
Zonta fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Krawlee on the side of the head.

Peter Zonta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kree P Krawlee.
Krawlee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zonta sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Krawlee somewhat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Krawlee has hold of Zonta's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Zonta manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Zonta is controlling an arm, preventing Krawlee from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Krawlee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

I would just about give that final round to Kree P Krawlee.
Well Zonta has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
