Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Lynch!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.

Lynch drives through and clinches with Diaz against the cage.
Lynch on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lynch scores a nice knee to the body.

Diaz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lynch uses from the top position.
Diaz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Diaz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lynch's guard.

Diaz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Diaz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Diaz closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lynch did well to prevent Diaz getting side control.

Lynch lands a good knee to the midsection. Diaz won't want to take too many of those.

Lynch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Diaz is trying to break the clinch but Lynch is controlling him.

Diaz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Diaz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Lynch scoring well with a low kick there.
Lynch dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Diaz. That did some damage!
Diaz lands a head kick. Lynch smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Lynch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lynch enables Diaz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lynch manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Lynch pulls Diaz in close to his closed guard and prevents Diaz from doing any damage or advancing position.

Diaz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Diaz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Diaz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lynch keeps working.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diaz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
