Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

Penn Jr misses with a left hand
and Brophy counters with a right hand to the body.
Brophy avoids the head kick by Penn Jr.
Brophy tries to move into range but Penn Jr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Penn Jr throws a hook but Brophy avoids it easily.

Brophy tried to counter with a leg kick but Penn Jr avoided it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brophy crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Penn Jr - the referee stops the clock and Brophy gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Penn Jr. Brophy manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Brophy swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Brophy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Penn Jr glances at the clock... BAM! Brophy nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Penn Jr crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Penn Jr is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Brophy!
After winning the bout, John Brophy thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
