Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spanky Stewart (ranked 4636 p4p, 4600 weight class) and Lex Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Spanky Stewart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lex Gracie! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Stewart. Gracie is trying to control Stewart's posture but Stewart avoids it. Stewart is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around? Gracie is looking to reverse the position. You can see the frustration on Gracie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. He has the arm isolated but Gracie is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Gracie can't do much from the bottom here. Stewart swings around for an armbar but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Stewart's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Stewart manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.
Stewart thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Stewart from controlling successfully. Gracie is trying to control the position but Stewart postures up. Stewart is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Stewart is pushing down on Gracie's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gracie is fighting to maintain full guard but Stewart has managed to sneak the leg through. Stewart takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. And that's the end of the fight! Spanky Stewart showed his dominance in that final round. Well Stewart has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
